Tenant / Buyer Questions​

At alouer.ca you can find residential, commercial and vacation properties. Properties in these categories can be listed For Rent or For Sale or both.

You can use the search tool, it’s accessible on top of all the pages of the website.

Use the advanced search for more filters to meet your specific needs.

Click on the “Other Features” tab for more filters.

This filter is available within the ‘’Other Features”  tab on our advanced search. Select the “Pets Allowed” checkbox and click search.

Simply click the save “Star” icon on one of the searches that you made. You can save multiples searches. Saved searches can be viewed in your profile dashboard when you are signed in. Please note you can save searches only when you are registered with alouer.ca

Simply click the “heart” icon anywhere you see it, this action will add the property to your favourites. Saved favourites properties can be viewed in your profile dashboard when you are signed in. Please note you can add favourite properties only when you are registered to alouer.ca

 

Searching for properties does not require you to be registered; however, if you wish to save your favourite properties, and search results you must register. By registering, you can receive email alerts about new properties that meet your search criteria. To receive email notifications, save one or more searches.

Registering with alouer.ca is simple and free. There is never any cost for searching our available properties…You can register by clicking the “Sign in/Register” tab in the top menu, or by clicking the save “Star” icon on one of the searches that you made. After entering your username and email address, click the “Select Type” button and choose “Tenant / Buyer” from the drop-down menu. You can save multiples searches. Saved searches can be viewed in your profile dashboard when you are signed in.

Sign into your account to view your favourite properties and saved searches.

To contact the person who listed the property on our site, simply click the orange ‘Request Info’ button found on every listing. You can also send a direct message when you are signed in.

Each listing will allow you to contact the person who listed the property via email, phone and text.

Simply sign into your account, and delete the saved searches. After you delete the saved searches, you will no longer receive email notifications.

Properties can be listed on alouer.ca for free. There are no fees or hidden charges for listing properties. We only charge those who wish to make their property Featured on top of search results.

Simply click on the Add a Property button on the top right of any page on the website.

Next, complete the property description and mandatory fields marked by ” * “.  Entering the region and city in the address fields will help potential tenants find your listing when searching for a property in your area. Next, Select my properties from your user profile or from the drop-down menu, while hovering over your profile avatar.

To edit your property, click the actions button and select edit. From the actions drop-down, you can edit, delete, duplicate, put on hold, and add floor plans or multi-units for your property.

To edit your photos, click the actions button and select edit.

You can rearrange the images by dragging them sideways, the first photo is the default image for the listing.

All listings have an expiration date. The reason is to keep the listings fresh and up to date. If your listing expired you can easily relist it,  all your properties will be saved in the “my properties” section in my profile.  

You can make your property featured for a nominal fee. From your profile, my properties tab, click the Upgrade to Featured button to set your property as featured. The Featured add will expire at the same time as the property expiration date.

Featured listings always appear on top of all pages in their respective category, and on top of the searched results.

Simply sign into your account. Select my properties from your profile page. Choose the property you want to be removed from searches. Click the actions button and select “put on hold”. The listing will no longer appear in searches. 

You can relist the property anytime you wish by clicking actions and “Go Live” from the drop-down menu.

Real Estate Companies / Agencies Questions

When you subscribe as a Real Estate  Company or agency, you can add multiple representatives or agents to your profile. This function allows you to assign a property to the individual who will be the contact for the listing. Select add new rep or agent from my profile dashboard.

Before submitting the property, select who you want to be displayed as the contact for the listing.

Users registered as a company or as an agency can add multiple agents or representatives as the contact for the properties that are submitted; However, the reps and agents can also load properties from their profile. The properties will be displayed in the profile of the user who loaded them. If the agency submits the property, the agent has no access to the property from his profile, and visa versa…On the front end of the website, everything displayed as it should be.
